Mayden supports NHS Change Day

Following the success of the last NHS Change Day, we are delighted to once again lend support to this staff-led movement to see thousands of improvements mobilised for the benefit of patients.

On NHS Change Day last year, we provided a free day of data analytics consultancy to an NHS trust, helping them identify where improvements could be made to their service.

This time around, we have pledged to send our software developers into NHS services to see how our electronic patient record is used by clinical staff, and where it can be improved to make their record keeping easier, and the patient appointments run more smoothly. This is something we hope to make part of our service, and we hope this will help our developers be even more in tune with the needs of our clients.

Chris Eldridge, Product Manager, said “supporting this kind of grass-roots movement is important to us at Mayden, because it is usually those on the front line who see where the problems are, and can innovate their way out of them. We want the software that we produce at Mayden to support and enable the process of care delivery in every way possible. By seeing it in use at the point of care, we hope our developers will be able to more easily identify with end users and allow them to make our products even more user friendly for busy clinical staff”.

We will also be hosting a series of free Open House days at our offices near Bath, providing our NHS clients with free refresher courses and training to help spread best practice for getting the most from their patient management system.
